PlanGrid (by Autodesk)
PlanGrid is a cloud-based construction productivity platform that gives GCs, subcontractors, and owners real-time mobile access to project plans, drawings, issues, photos, and forms. Acquired by Autodesk in 2018, it has since been merged into Autodesk Build as part of the Autodesk Construction Cloud. No longer sold to new customers, existing users access it via the PlanGrid Build mobile app.
When to use it
Use when managing construction project documents, blueprints, and field coordination across large teams. Instead of distributing paper drawings or emailing PDFs, field crews access the latest plans instantly on mobile, mark up issues in real time, and sync changes across all devices and stakeholders.
